A wet start to the day would be an understatement, BUT that does not stop our team from doing what they do best. No rain is going to stop The Shred Centre team! Our drivers have been out and about across the UK today, servicing our regular customers, ensuring their confidential waste is safely disposed of and this is proved by presenting a Destruction Certificate. We leave you with the following positive quote for the week.
Happy Monday all!
“Decide that you want it more than you are afraid of it”
Well, the weather certainly has not improved and it certainly is a lot cooler, hello autumn! Brrr, frosty start this morning for our early risers but all vehicles were out and on the road before 6 am! A good start which means happy customers all round. The Warehouse staff have been busy too, bailing and loading 54 bales today! Our Account Manager Leigh has been busy too, holding the fort in the office and dealing with all new enquiries as well as existing customers while Katie has been on her holidays again! We hope you bring some sunshine back. A great end to another great day!
Great start this morning when the postman delivered our Warehouse Manager, Katherine Stephens, her certificate for successfully completing her IOSH Managing Safety course! Well done, another one to add to the growing portfolio.
We recently posted on our Facebook page about an article we came across in the Daily Mail how thousands of patient’s medical records were ‘dumped’ in a town centre. Paper bales were used to hold up scaffolding. You would not expect this to be happening in 2019! Outrageous, read further on the below link!
The mornings sure are getting darker, meaning it is even more difficult to pull yourself out of bed. Leigh was off to another early start this morning, attending her weekly BNI meeting. Leigh is part of the visitor hosting team for BNI, meaning an even earlier start of 5:30am. BNI is a friendly group of local business owners/representatives, waiting to meet and help you. Last year the members of BNI UK reported income in excess of £482 million in new business. It absolutely makes sense for Leigh to be part of the friendly bunch. If you would like to learn more, give Leigh a shout!
We all love a Friday! Feels like it was only Monday yesterday. Great start today with all drivers raring to go and collect from our lovely customers! We also welcomed back Katie yesterday, who is back from her holibobs. Welcome back! It is a busy one in the warehouse today with the guys loading bales ready to be shipped out to Prudhoe and be recycled into loo roll! Good job guys!
That’s another week wrapped! Have a great weekend all!
The Shred Centre Team.
