The Shred Centre – What have we all been up to

It has been a busy one for us all here, we started the month of by welcoming our new LGV service and destruction operative Tim Phillips to the team. Tim will work along side Matthew McCleod, and our other recent new addition Abbie Nelson delivering the professional and secure service our customers have come to expect.

Tim has a vast amount of driving and service expericnce and will be a great asset to the company going forwards, and certainly does fit in with the rest of the team!

Another new addition this month saw us welcome Darryl Petit to our destruction centre team on a part time basis, Darryl will provide a massive boost to the team while he is here and help us to continue to destroy confidential materials as soon as we receive it.

April also saw us complete an noffice revamp! We have had brand new carpets laid – thanks to Franks the Flooring Store who supplied and fitted out new hard wearing carpet! The fitters were absolutely fantastic thank you.

The walls have been re-plastered by NDC Developments ltd, who did a fantastic job in such a quick time, again it was a pleasure them on site.  We are just awaiting our new wall art which our friends and customers Screentech will be delivering, thanks to Michael Monkmanfor coming over to measure up. Once this is up the office is officially complete, making Katie and Leigh happy ladies! Happy staff means happy customers!  – look out for some office pics coming soon!

Also this month we engaged the services of Social Media Hub, to help us with our digital presence – this started with a revamp of our website, we would love to know what you think?

One of our newest recruits Abbie has gone above and beyond for the team and herself this month (as usual) and attended a LGV tacho refresher course and a driving refresher course on her weekends off, she is always wanting to get better which is great for a newly qualified drive and helps make our company stronger by doing so.

Abbie attended her courses at Twinway  Driver Training, and said that the team there couldn’t be more helpful and they tailored both sessions to suit her needs, a massive thank you to you guys too! Hop you don’t mind us sharing your picture of Abbie here again.

Ooh also – have you ever wondered what reels of chocolate bar wrappers look like when they are shredded? We have shredded 20+ ton of these this month and this is the result.
